NSA-IL is proud to present the Speaker University ... and have we got a show for you! With the outpouring of response from our speaker experts willing to serve as instructors, we've created a variety of formats incorporating all their advice for candidates in both Years 1 and 2, while retaining invaluable networking, coaching and individualized applications. This win/win program incorporates NSA's newly enhanced competencies: Expertise, Eloquence, Enterprise & Ethics.
What:
An 9-month curriculum of evening sessions (5:30 - 7:45 p.m.) the first Tuesday of each month from September through May. The university-style syllabus includes: World of Professional Speaking; Topic Development; Platform Mechanics, Presenting & Performing; Marketing; Sales; Authorship & Product Development; and Managing the Business.
Year 2 will be held first Wednesday of Month commencing September and class times will be 5:30 to 7:45pm.
Both classes will begin by meeting together September 9, 2008 at 5:30 pm. The time we must leave is designated by the building. All non-residents must be out of the building by 8:00 pm. We ask that you try to arrive on time.

This year’s program will be held at Ronald McDonald House, Maywood. Good parking, nice facility and you can bring food in.
