NSA-IL is proud to present Speaker University ... and have we got a show for you! With the outpouring of response from our speaker experts willing to serve as instructors, we've created a variety of formats incorporating all their advice, while retaining invaluable networking, coaching and individualized applications. This win/win program incorporates NSA's newly enhanced competencies: Expertise, Eloquence, Enterprise & Ethics. Also, this year we will be moving into the corporate market to offer presentation labs so that corporations will know that NSA-IL exists!

 

Cost comparisons:

NSA national member's 2 day speaking/presentation skills school is $900. A virtual content course is $1497. Public Speaking Mastery course by national organization is $1595.
Another NSA chapter has a 2 year professional track for $1995; a 3 day program is $1995.

What:

A 9-month curriculum of evening sessions (6:00 - 9:00 p.m.) beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14. The university-style syllabus includes: World of Professional Speaking; Topic Development; Platform Mechanics, Presenting & Performing; Marketing; Sales; Authorship & Product Development; Managing the Business; and Ethics.

Where:

This year’s program will be at the University of llinois BIS. It is at 1100 E. Warrenville Road, Naperville (630-5050-0500). The stoplight where you turn in is NOT marked with a street name since it effectively goes into a parking lot. It is the ONLY stoplight between Freedom Dr. (tollway exit/entrance) coming Westbound and Washington St. going Eastbound.

 

The area has three different two story buildings. Once you turn south into the parking lot - it is the building on your right. When you go in the front door, the U of I is on the first floor - just veer right once you are in the door.
