Bio

Meg Bucaro is a communications expert, professional speaker, author and college instructor who is passionate about empowering clients to perform at their highest level by influential communication behaviors.

Whether working with clients on how to organize a formal presentation, prepare for an interview, improve body language, or speaking to women’s groups about how the Superwoman ideal is costing them their health and happiness (and what to do about it!), Meg infuses every project with her expertise, whip-smart humor, and passion.

With a Masters Degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University, Meg has taught Communication Studies in higher education since 2001. She launched her professional speaking career in 2010, adding coaching and consulting a few years later. In 2017, Meg introduced Communication Boot Camp for Law Enforcement—training for anyone in the industry seeking to enhance their communication skills. Since then, Meg has brought her training programs to corporate employee resources groups, women-focused associations, and attorneys offices/associations.

Meg is an active member of the National Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association of Illinois.

When it comes to kicking back, Meg enjoys spending time with her family, soaking up the Midwest weather on her patio with a cocktail and a good book, or going for a nice, slow, long jog.  Any fall Sunday, this avid Chicago fan can be found cheering on her beloved Bears, regardless of their record (gotta love an underdog, right?)
