Shanita Akintonde is the epitome of exuberance and enthusiasm, and she spreads love wherever she goes!

As an educator, entrepreneur, podcast powerhouse, published author and world traveler, her greatest passion is her precious family—her husband of 27 years and their two adult sons, Jimi, 27, and Anthony, 23.

She is also an avid community servant, sitting on four boards as well as presiding over a Toastmasters Club that she founded called Leading Ladies.

With three decades of experience as a college professor, writer, and branding expert, Shanita shines as a professional speaker, marketing thought leader, and content creator.

She channels these strengths into her role as president, ShanitaSpeaks, LLC, a global media enterprise that trains women and millennials to be better communicators, leaders, and lovers — of themselves, and those who may appear to be different.
