NSA's Storytelling Competition Is created by professional speakers for professional speakers
NSA Illinois hosted the first level of the competition from January 8 – February 22. We had 16 competitors, all of whom were scored on three tracks: marketability, impact, and presentation.
The four finalists will now be competing in Phase 2 for the right to be named “Chapter Champion.” The winner will proceed to the regional phase of the competition.

who is eligible
Only the 4 finalists from Phase 1 are eligible for this phase of the competition. They are:
- Shanita Akintonde
- Christopher Carter
- Jeff Rogers
- Christine Sandman Stone
fees
- Fee: $75 for Phase Two of Chapter Competition - three finalists
- Fee: $250 for Regional Competition
- Fee: No fees for National

Key dates
Here are key dates for Phase 2 of the Competition:
- February 23 - March 21: Top three finalists create videos with same storyline
- March 22- 25: Judges review videos
- March 26 - Select Chapter Competition
- March 27 - Chapter Champion is submitted to Regional Competition once fees are paid.
