Justine Gonzalez is an American and Puerto Rican culture and communications practitioner, researcher, and storyteller who supports corporations, K12 school districts, and nonprofits through her consulting firm, Educator Aide®, Inc. Justine has served as a teacher, instructional coach, and K12 school and district-level administrator. In 2021 she became one of the first Latinas to become a certified trainer in the United States for the Process Communication Model® (PCM), an intercultural communications model initially developed as a therapeutic model of practice.

Born in the Midwest of the United States to her Puerto Rican father and Amish/Mennonite background mother, she knows intimately the skills required to venture into the dissonance of unpacking your cultural origin story to step into your identity, how to navigate cultural dysfunction and miscommunication, and why improving cross-cultural communications has massive ROI for organizations.

She volunteers as a founding board member for Midwest Center for Social Services and an active board member for Educate Me Foundation. She is a four-time author and hosts the Cultural Capacity podcast. Justine is a Ph.D. candidate with a body of research focused on cultural neuroscience, cultural leadership, and cultural psychology and their impact on school leader effectiveness.

She currently resides in the Village of Romeoville, just outside Chicago with her long-time partner Thadious and miniature poodle Canela. The trio loves to enjoy adventures together. Justine currently leads the organization Educator Aide, Inc. She founded the consulting firm in 2017.

Additionally, she is the co-founder of Sabbath Sisterhood, a faith-based organization that offers curated experiences for women who need rest, relaxation, and real sisterhood grounded in the teachings of Christ.
